Effective January 2, 2020, Siemens AG acquired 100% of the shares from the founders.
AIT Applied Information Technologies GmbH & Co. KG (“AIT”) is a leading provider of individual, innovative software solutions based on Microsoft .NET platforms. The company is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and has established itself as a key service partner for Application LifeCycle Management (ALM) solutions based on the Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio.

M&A process
Together with Thiele & Associates Beratung und Beteiligungen AG, the sellers found the best fitting buyer. The international M&A process was led by Dr. Ulrich and Dr. Thiele, including structuring the transaction, coordinating the due diligence, negotiating the purchase price and accompanying the further contract negotiations.
