Sale of a wind farm in a structured bidding process to a municipal energy supplier

As result of a structured bidding process, a 10 MW wind farm in Rhineland-Palatinate has been successfully sold. The seller is a municipal energy provider from southern Germany, which is reorganizing its activities in the field of renewable energies, but in principle wants to further expand its portfolio of solar and wind power plants. The acquiror is also a municipal energy supplier. The transaction has been closed in May 2019. The parties have agreed not to-disclose the terms of the transaction.
The sellers were advised in the M & A process by Dr. Michael Thiele and Dr. Nadine Ulrich.
